This is a gorgeously illustrated story book for younger children – vibrant, colourful and playful. The illustrations beautifully evoke the landscape of the African plains and the hustle and bustle of Uganda. The text itself has a lullaby-like pace and its almost poetic rhythm is wonderful to read aloud. A heart-warming, gently uplifting story to be read again and again.
